Update
When I put this on the blog yesterday, there was NOT a message stating that it was being cancelled. Now there is. UGH!
Sorry.
At least its good until then I guess.
James,
Was reading your newsletter and seen the k7 thingy (for phone) you
mentioned. There is another site that gives you a phone # (area based)
that has voicemail. They send you email alerts to let you know when
you have a message on your number. You set it up just like any other
voicemail. When someone calls your # it rings 4 times for them, like
a real phone, then your voicemail comes on. Here is the site:
It is ran by netzero.
Amy
Thank you Amy! (and Kathy, who sent me a similar letter)
Actually, I think i'm liking this one better than K7, which I ran
last week.
Well, you be the judge.
If you would like to test it, here is my K7 number:
1-206-338-2363
And my Netzero private number: (yes, it is automated)
1-773-260-0315
So check this out....
When filling out forms:
First Name: Current
Last Name: Resident
Address: Your real address
City: Your real city
Zip: Your real zip
Phone #: Voila! Pick a service above and use that.
Now how much info are you truly giving out when signing up
for freebies?
